SXSWfm is the official streaming radio station for South By Southwest (SXSW ). The app allows you to listen to the music of showcasing artists that perform at the SXSW Music Festival each March in Austin,Texas. Listen to the live stream or archived specialty shows anytime, anywhere. Each week specialty show hosts focus on genres and/or regions such as hip hop, Americana, EDM, indie/psyche rock and Austin/Central Texas. FEATURES INCLUDE: SXSWfm reflects the wide spectrum of sounds you can hear when you attend the SXSW Music Festival. It's all kinds of music from all over the world. In 2013, over 2,000 bands from 55 countries performed here in Austin, and we've been doing this since 1987, so you'll also hear legendary performers from throughout the history of SXSW. .
